Triveni Ghat: Triveni Ghat is the pious ghat located on the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati. Devotees throng here to take a dip into its holy water which is believed to wash away all the sins. The major attraction of this Ghat is the evening aarti, or Maha aarti when it is illuminated by the thousands of lamps. 

Bharat Mandir: This temple is situated near the Triveni Ghat and is believed to be the oldest temple of Rishikesh. It was built by Adi Shankaracharya in the 9th Century. On the occasion of Basant Panchami, devotees visit the temple to attend a large procession wherein the idol of Lord Hrishikesh is taken out for a dip in the holy water and then establish in the temple. 

Neelkanth Mahadev Temple: Located at the short distance from Rishikesh, Neelkanth Mahadev temple is dedicated to the Lord Shiva. It is one of the popular places to visit in Rishikesh and is believed to be on the spot where venomous liquid was consumed by Lord Shiva. 

Lakshman Jhula: Lakshman Jhula is the suspension bridge built over the River Ganges and has been named after Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Ram. Opened for public in 1939, the bridge has temples on its either side and offers the breathtaking views of Rishikesh and the Ganges flowing beneath it. 

Shivpuri: Shivpuri is the paradise for adventure sports lovers with its white water rafting and other adventure sports activities. Located 16 km away from Rishikesh, the place is located very near to the river Ganges and has a 16 km long rafting stretch up to Lakshman Jhula.
